This illustration is inspired by Orkney’s famous site: The Ring of Brodgar’s stones. The Ring of Brodgar is one of Orkney’s most iconic prehistoric sites, a magnificent circle of ancient standing stones dating back over 4,000 years. Set amongst the wild Orkney landscape, the stones are a striking reminder of the islands’ rich Neolithic history and mysterious past.
